Business Savvy Risk Management is committed to complying with the requirements of the National Privacy Principles of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

These principles regulate the way BSRM collects, uses, discloses, keeps secure, and gives customers access to their personal information. (This is information about individuals and companies that identifies them) Accordingly, this Privacy Policy tells you what information BSRM collects and keeps, what BSRM does with it, and what your rights are in relation to that information.

Your personal information

In order to provide services to you BSRM needs to collect and retain some personal information. As part of your use of BSRM's website (businesssavvy.com.au) ("Website") and/or the online products and services, BSRM maintains information on your behalf on its servers about your employees that you have uploaded as forms, documents, agreements, templates, notes and alerts and other employee related records.

BSRM considers all information about you and your employees to be private and confidential, and holds itself to the highest standards in the safekeeping and use of this information.

How does BSRM use your personal information?

BSRM will not use your personal information for any purpose which is not related to the primary purpose for which it is collected and for other secondary purposes that are related to the primary purpose. BSRM will not use your personal information for any purpose that you would not reasonably expect us to use. Use of your personal information includes but is not limited to:

BSRM do not use any of the information regarding your employees that you upload to BSRM's servers for any purpose other than for statistical analysis regarding the level of your use of BSRM's products and services.

How does BSRM collect personal information?

Other than information that you upload directly to BSRM's servers, BSRM collects information from you through your visiting and forwarding information to us or making a purchase from the Website, the completion and forwarding to us of forms, or through discussions with us.

When you use the Website BSRM will collect information from you through the use of tagging. Tags do not contain information that can identify you but they do identify your computer to BSRM's servers. They are used to track information on an anonymous basis about your arrival at and use of the Website.

BSRM will not sell its customer information

Security of your information

BSRM and its subcontractors and service providers will take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of your personal information. Electronic information is protected by various security measures including the restriction of access to authorised parties by the use of password protection, secure socket layer protection and encryption of all subscriber transactions on the Website and physical security measures. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed as totally secure. Whilst BSRM strives to protect such information, BSRM does not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information which you transmit to us. Accordingly, any information which you transmit to us is transmitted at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we will take all reasonable steps to preserve the security of such information.

Accessing and correcting personal information

You have the right to access your personal information subject to certain restrictions provided for in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you require access to your personal information please contact BSRM at admin@businesssavvy.com.au

BSRM will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is correct and up to date but if you believe that any of your personal information is incorrect BSRM will correct it at your request. You also have the ability through your access to the BSRM secure platform to directly access and change some of your personal information.

BSRM reserves the right to terminate your subscription at any time for non-payment of any subscription invoice or for breach of any of these terms and conditions. If your subscription is terminated or you choose to stop using your subscription, the following will apply:

Service Availability and Security

All BSRM servers are managed in a secure environment. However, from time to time, delays or interruptions may occur in BSRM providing the online products and services to you. You acknowledge that BSRM will not be responsible for any such delay or interruptions and that BSRM will not have any liability to you for any failure or delay in delivering the online products or services to you.

Subscriptions, Fees and Payment

BSRM online products and services are provided on the basis of an annual subscription which commences on the day you make your first subscription payment and continues until you elect not to renew your subscription at its next renewal date or BSRM terminates your subscription. BSRM will contact you 30 days prior to each subscription renewal date in order to confirm that you wish to renew your subscription.

For payments made by credit card, you authorise BSRM to process payments to that credit card for all subscription charges including renewals, unless you cancel your subscription with effect from the next renewal date.

Charges for support and help desk services, where levied, will be processed to your credit card at completion of the service. Each enquiry will be individually quoted and in accepting the quote you are agreeing to pay the charges when processed.

GST

All fees and charges disclosed on the Platform are inclusive of GST at the current rate and may be increased as a result of any changes in the rate of GST. GST has the meaning used in the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 and any applicable rulings issued by the Commissioner of Taxation.
